TOBY MORGAN= MORGAN Toby 13.01.1922 - 18.12.2007 Marilyn and Ruth would like to thank everyone who joined us for Toby's humanist service at Llwydcoed on December 28th 2007. It was so sensitively presented by Mr. Richard Patterson. Thank you Richard. You conveyed to us all in such a beautiful way the very essence of the man who has touched so many peoples lives. It was heartwarming to see so many of our family, friends and neighbours there to share this celebration of Toby's colourful and interesting life. Primrose, Ruth and Tudor kindly read the moving verse and Kris organised the music, chosen by Toby. Suzanne provided lovely flowers for the day. Raymond and Carwyn Iles carried out their duties with compassion and dignity. After the service we were warmly welcomed back at Cilsanws Golf Club, everyone was able to enjoy Toby's favourite music and reminisce of happier times over a few drinks with the fine buffet prepared by Sandra and Debbie. Our thanks go out to everyone who helped make that day so memorable. Recognition must also be given to the many people in our community who cared for Toby during the last seven years. We are so grateful to our neighbour Linda, our local G.P. Dr. Jayrahman, the Doctors and Nurses in Casualty, Oral Surgery, Wards 7 and 19 and Keryn in Urology at Prince Charles Hospital, the Social Service Team led by Huw Jenkins, Sarasi the Physiotherapist, Zoe and Rebecca the Occupational Therapists and Darren the assistant, Q-Care Staff and finally the Paramedic Martin Phillips and the Staff on Ward 5 Prince Charles Hospital all of whom provided us with an excellent service. We are indebted to Byron who has kindly accepted all donations on our behalf in memory of Toby, to be given to the local paramedic service and Ward 5, Prince Charles Hospital. These last few weeks have seemed so very unreal. Family, friends, neighbours, the crossword boys, members of Cilsanws Golf Club, and the bowls clubs have provided us with much support. We are truly grateful to you all. Finally I would like to pay tribute to our daughter Ruth who has been so strong and caring. Her dad would have been so proud of her. Toby and Penny brought us much happiness we will cherish these memories. l
